Upgrade the lighting in most of your AutoMeter gauges with this amber-colored LED wedge bulb. It is designed to replace standard incandescent T3 wedge-base bulbs (types 161, 193, 194, 168) in many analog gauges—especially speedometers and most in-dashboard tachometers. It is not compatible with digital or LED-lit gauges (such as Cobalt, C2, ES, GS, Elite, Factory Match, NV, Phantom II, Sport-Comp II, Ultra-Lite II) or clocks/A/F ratio gauges.

Key performance specs include approximately 9.8-11 lumens output, a current draw of about 0.06 amps, and an average bulb life expectancy of ~100,000 hours.

Compatibility & Installation Notes

• Confirm your gauge uses a T3 wedge incandescent bulb (types 161, 193, 194, 168) before replacing.

• Not compatible with gauges that already use LED backlighting or digital faces (e.g., Cobalt, C2, ES, GS, NV, Phantom II, Sport-Comp II, Ultra-Lite II series). 

• Installation is simple: remove old wedge bulb from gauge lamp socket, insert this LED wedge bulb in the same place, ensuring proper polarity if required and operation check at night.

• Because it draws very low current, ensure the gauge cluster lighting fuse and wiring are in good condition for uniform illumination.

• As this is a lighting upgrade (not a gauge itself), no senders or gauge calibration changes are needed.
