This mechanical boost gauge is designed to monitor positive boost pressure up to 35 PSI in turbocharged or supercharged engine applications. It utilizes a precision Bourdon‐tube meter movement—meaning the gauge reads pressure via mechanical tubing and does not require an electrical signal for the primary reading. A 1/8″ NPT pressure connection is used, with nylon tubing and 1/8″ NPT to 1/4″ NPT adapter fittings included in the kit.
The gauge features a standard 2-1/16″ (≈ 52 mm) mounting hole size, making it compatible with many aftermarket pods and custom dashboards. The performance‐styled dial provides clear, accurate readings in a compact instrument format. Installation is straightforward: mount the gauge in the proper cut-out, connect the supplied pressure tubing and fittings, and ensure the tubing route avoids kinks and extreme heat/vibration zones.
Key Features
-
0–35 PSI positive boost range for performance engines.
-
Mechanical (Bourdon-tube) movement—no electrical drive required for the pressure reading.
-
1/8″ NPT pressure port with included fittings and tubing kit.
-
Fits standard 2-1/16″ gauge hole.
-
Designed for use in turbo, supercharge, or high-boost applications where accurate boost monitoring is critical.
Compatibility & Installation Notes
-
Confirm your intended boost range is within the 0–35 PSI domain—if your system sees higher boost, a gauge with a higher range is recommended.
-
Ensure your mounting location supports a 2-1/16″ gauge cut-out and that the panel depth and clearance suit the gauge body.
-
Route the tubing to the pressure port securely, avoid sharp bends or heat, and secure the tubing to avoid failures or inaccurate readings.
-
Because this gauge is mechanical, no electrical sensor is required for the pressure reading—but the gauge may still require illumination wiring for the pointer/back-light (depending on model).
-
Prior to installation, verify all pressure fittings and adapters are tight and compatible, and bleed any air in the tubing to ensure accurate reading.
