In 1971, Jim Wiser started Wiser Repair offering diesel fuel injection & turbo sales and service.  As the business grew and became geared more toward the technical work, the name was changed to South Central Diesel.  SCD is truly a family business.  Jim’s wife, Ann, worked as the bookkeeper for many years.  Their daughter, Jodi, took over the books until 2017.  In 1994, Jim’s son, Mike, began managing the business.  And currently, his grandson, Griffin, works in the business rebuilding injectors and assists in pickup repairs.  Randy joined the team early.  And in 2020, we celebrated his 30th year of being a vital team member to the business.  Jim has always felt all the employees were like family.

South Central Diesel has been at the same location since it’s inception.  We have grown every year and have customers from coast to coast.  As one of only a few Bosch authorized service stations in the US, our test equipment can properly test all types of fuel injection products.  In addition, our employees have over 100 years of combined experience in the diesel industry.
